Transfer a license

Move a license from your account to another user’s account. This is useful for resale or handoff to a teammate.

Goal

Send a license to another Acme account.

Before you start

Warning

License transfers are irreversible. Make sure you have the correct Acme account for the recipient.

Confirm the product is eligible for transfer and understand any fees. Get the recipient’s Acme account ID and ensure the license isn’t activated to an Acme dongle or cloud session.

Steps

1. In Acme License Hub, select the license in your account.
2. Choose Transfer.
3. Enter the recipient’s Acme account ID.
4. Review any fees and confirm the transfer.

Outcome

The license leaves your account and appears in the recipient’s account, ready for activation.
